This specialised speaking course is unique. It is for business people that want to speak English more naturally and fluently rather than robotically. In other words, it is about the delivery of spoken English.
There are seven areas that are concentrated on: word stress, sentence stress, intonation, linking sounds, elision, reduction and pronunciation. Because participants will gain a better understanding of these areas, they will also improve their ability to understand native English speakers.
This course consists of: business situation roleplays, direct feedback, review exercises and homework exercises. The exercises and roleplays focus on the seven areas previously mentioned.
Most speaking practice occurs during the business situation roleplays, which cover the following areas: job interviews, introductions, brainstorming, socialising after work, checking understanding, small talk, dealing with customers and clients, negotiating, providing advice/suggestions, being diplomatic, using delaying tactics and responding to feedback.
This course may be taken one-on-one (the best way for you to learn) or two-on-one (the most economical way).
